Trying to Get Down to Your Birth Weight?!? We Are..

Let this image scare you and we hope that it does just that.  If you are over weight and you are trying to get down to your "birth weight", let us give you a few pointers that may help.

1. Cardio, Cardio, Cardio.   Doing 30 to 60 mins of cardio every day will make a huge improvement in your dieting world.  If you sit down to watch a TV show just remember you can get into those skinny pants hiding in your closet if you get off your ass and do cardio during that show.

2. Cutting carbonation out of your diet.  Recently, studies have shown that soda can hugely impact a persons weight loss by cutting it out.  For example, go to your kitchen cabinet and grab a pound of sugar out of it and dump it on a plate right in front of you.  Now look at the pile of sugar and know that one can of Coke has about a pound of sugar in every can.  You think Diet Soda is helping you, its not it still has sodium and ummm duh the carbonation which makes you retain water and bloat.  Look at the picture again.  Point proven.

3. Eating right, don't go extreme.  I eat my cravings, I just eat smaller portions then fat people do.  I cut some cravings out and eat about 5 times a fay to keep my metabolism up.  Eating right doesn't mean you can't go out to eat either, just be aware of what your eating and try to eat half of what you regularly eat and take the rest to eat 4 hours later.  Weight Watchers is a great program to try FYI.

4.  Drink water.  Hydrate our self the right way and get your 8-10 cups of that H2O every day.  It cleans up your skin, helps you digest food, and its been proven that most of the time you think your hungry, you're actually just thirsty, so try this diet tip...  Drink a glass of water when you think your hungry, a full 8 ounces of cold water...  Then wait about ten minutes.  If you are still hungry eat.

5.  Snacking... When you are craving something grab our favorite whole grain cereal and snack on about an 8 once cup of cereal.  Most of the time your body just needs to feel like its eat and by chewing whole grain cereal you're keeping up with your nutrition and tricking your brain to think its actually snacking on something filling...

Those are my 5 tips to dieting and its been working for me personally.  I have taken my body fat down, because remember the weight is not the goal its the body fat that you need to pay attention to.
